Chuck Richards, Founder & CEO

After four startups as CEO and CFO, two turnarounds, and making the Inc 500, Chuck formed Chairman's View to share with owners and leaders the critical importance of Value. He has helped hundreds of owners and CEOs of private companies. As a speaker and lecturer, he has written articles, been interviewed on TV and radio, including NPR, and has been quoted in national magazines. Chuck has a BA in Economics from Williams College, and a ME from MIT in Engineering & Business. He has four children and resides in VT with his wife, Jeanne.
Jess Huber, Director of Operations
Jess has been with Chairman's View since its inception and has over 15 years experience in operations, client relations and process management. He is currently a member of CV's senior management team and helps develop and execute all products and services. Jess has played many roles at CV, including business analyst, technical administrator, customer relations specialist, trainer and office manager. Before joining CV, Jess sold and executed private events for Zoo New England and the Fairmont Corporation. As legislative liaison to U.S. Senator James Jeffords, he tracked and communicated health and disability policies throughout Vermont, while overseeing the operations of his largest district office. A Vermont native, Jess received his BA from the University of Vermont in 1993, and lives in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts.
Carol Richards, Technical Applications Manager
Carol brings 25 years of IT experience to her role as Technical Applications Manager at Chairman's View. She is an integral member of the CVantage design team and oversees its development and support. For many years, Carol provided computer, statistical and database support to researchers studying the treatment of chronic mental illness at the Commonwealth Research Center, a Harvard-affiliated research group. She also was a Teaching Assistant for a Java Programming course at Harvard's Summer School and has worked in marketing research at The Development & Marketing Group and The Institute of Internal Auditors. Carol received a Bachelor of Arts degree with High Distinction and Honors from Rollins College in 1981 and a Master of Arts degree from Brown University in 1983. Her collaborative publications include articles in the American Journal of Psychiatry and The Internal Auditor. Carol lives in Wellesley, Massachusetts with her husband, Kevin, and their two children.
